My little mate Ockie...

So, Oskar's just turned a year and weights in at a grand 102.6lbs and about 26.5-27 inches in height, it would seem that he's going to be a little man-which is fine by me. Just wondering if anyone else has small males and has anyones dog had a growth spurt-height and weight wise-after one year, or is that even possible?

Nanook is a small male - I'd say he's the same height as your Oskar. Unfortunately he's a lard-butt so I can't compare weights with you and have it make any sense...

He's a little over a year and a half old. I have heard our guys can keep growing until they are three and sometimes longer - but I'm not holding my breath! (besides, Nanook outweighs me already by so much, if he were bigger I don't know what I'd do!)

Evan, the one in my avatar, was 3 yrs old last week. He is 26" and about 115 lb. I reckon he won't grow any taller now.

i think i got the smallest male yet but I'm not sure how to measure the height but he is 1yr and half and is even smaller than Nanook. mine only weighs 103lb well last time he was weighed any ways. i am not holding my breath for a growth spurt it just seems simba will be small.

ozzy grew in height until almost 2. she still is not completely matured and will be 3 in dec.

Big Fella is 3 and he weighs around 116. That's plenty big enough for me! Cooper is almost 2 and he's bigger than Big Fella and does not appear to be done yet. Scary! He's slowing down though....I hope.

Angus is 13 months, 112 pounds, 27 inches at the shoulder. He's not done growing yet, but I think he's as tall as he's going to be. I can see him getting wider through the shoulder and hips. Even his head is getting broader. But, at this point, he's smaller than his mom and half the size of his dad. That's all good with me, I just want him healthy!

Riley, on the other hand, at 18 months, is 31 inches at the butt, 30 at the shoulder and 140 pounds. He turned into a bit of a lard butt for a month or so, but now I can feel his ribs again and he's getting really thick with muscle. Can't wait to see his chest drop and head fill out!

Turner is 4 and is around 110 lbs.

They can definitely grow a lot more after a year though.....you might ask about the parents and how they matured.
