My body is teasing me

I'm officially full term and officially done with being pregnant again, due officially in 20 days, but I really would like to get this over with sooner. Last night, I woke up three times with contractions that were enough to make me need to sit up and deep breathe, so I was wondering if the time had come.. Nope.. Obviously not because I woke up at 7:30 to the baby playing around in her crib waiitng for me to come get her.. *sigh*, how will my sanity survive?

Been there..done that..and as you smack-on..a grin n bear it attitude today..remember your mother, your grandmother..your great grandmother..etc..and know with two children..you will have the gift of ..citizens of tomorrow..who look at first..with the eyes of you and your husband..to view what is wonderous..and yet..to be done in this world. With time..they will see-out-and-Beyond..the parenting-eyes, to develop ..Their capacitys, Their wisdoms. Hug close the joys and pleasures of these hours..and focus upon all that is positive..that you can..as..in utero..means the emotive feeds are swirling about that baby now. Make those chemical-emotional feeds..as breathtakingly strong..as their mother and father are. Hugs.. ina n HB n Kesa

I remember that stage! I think I tried every idea I heard about to induce labor "naturally." There's a local pizza place that has a pizza that is supposed to induce labor, didn't work. Sex, didn't work. That salad everyone talks about, didn't work. Spicy food, etc, etc, etc, nothing worked. The last 2-3 weeks are the worst. But then it just happens and you get to fall in love with the new little one and all the pain and discomfort is forgotten. I almost miss it...almost. :D

I remember that phase. It was closely followed by the Oh My God I'm not ready for this phase.

Put your feet up and rest as much as you can!

Rest is hard when the almost 15 month old is running everywhere and getting into everything and teething.. :p.. I'm looking forward to the baby being born because at least then my hubby gets 5 weeks off and he can help me out a bit!

Benadryl? :uglyhammer: Sorry, I know that can be hard. You know when people call you to ask how you are and can they do anything? Say, "YES, yes you can! I will have her coat on waiting for you!" Or cry. People pity crying pregnant women. :hugs:If I was closer, I'd help.

Sorry, can't be much help. But, my dear friend who was nearing her term felt the same way you do. Of course it was summer time and she got on the riding mower, and mowed and mowed and mowed somemore. That seemed to work.

However, since I see you are in Quebec, perhaps a riding snow blower??????

It hasn't snowed enough here for me to even shovel! I figured it might bring on labour, or an injured back, but maybe bringing on labour would have been worth it.. It's been over a month since the last snowfall that required shovelling.. Big change from last year..
