It says "she is an attention hog". Well....that's what Newfies do best! Owner moved overseas, so it says, and left her behind. She's a beauty! Somebody needs to adopt this girl. (See the orange kitty beside her, and she's oblivious to it? Probably is good with cats)

I messaged them Mary Price's info (the NCNCR contact) and forwarded it to the NCNCR in the hopes that they might have someone looking for someone like her. It breaks my heart that we can't take her in though...hubby ixnayed it. He lacks imagination! She's literally right in town and I'm actually familiar with this very rescue as they bring their intakes into my vets office. Would be perfect! Boo!

She's with the rescue we got Leo from!!! Kristine was Leo's foster mom, she's very nice. I email her with updates about him.

I looked at the ad, since I could have fostered her, but with 4 it would be a stretch, but since she a one other dog limit, I don't know how that would go over between them all. Sorry.......

I was kind of wondering if you were going to try. When I read the petfinder ad and saw none or 1 dog household, I was wondering if it was a deal breaker for you. I had arranged to borrow the Varmints' van if transport help was need though. Not sure if my old beater of a car would be up to such a trip, and I wouldn't use the other car with a unknown dog.

Hopefully she found a home.

I would love to have her, but Gabriel is day to day at this point and I'm not sure how my girls would take to another female in the pack right now.
I also usually have foster dogs/pups most of the time, so tempting as it is, it's probably a bad idea.
She is in a rescue, so will be safe until she finds a home.
