Last year we couldn't bring him to the annual Columbus Pet Expo because he was under a year, but this year we could, and we all had so much fun! Morris has never been petted so much in his life.

Morris was so ready to go, he jumped in the wrong (tiny) car! We bought the Jeep with him in mind, but I guess that wasn't all that necessary...

We participated in the pet parade

The mama got roped into participating in one of the shows- they didn't know that hula hooping was one of my secret skills.

Morris watched from the sidelines and laughed.

There were all kinds of dogs there!

Free nail trimming!

Massages.... Morris wasn't into it

And babies.... a lot of them!

Jackie, have the Minnesota people contact the Ohio people and they'll see what a great idea it is to let the pets come! :) I love to bring Morris anywhere he is allowed!

Kelly, it was! Morris is EXHAUSTED! I love your new avatar!!

Looks like a lot of fun. As was mentioned the Minneapolis one doesnt allow dogs, which pretty much makes it pointless to me.

I love Morris! He's such a handsome boy...and that coat! Gah! So snuggly looking! Looks like loads of fun!

On a side note, the Minneapolis Pet Expo sounds lame! No pets at a Pet Expo? They should rename it the Minneapolis Pet Product Expo.

Chicago area just had a Pet Expo, I think the same weekend we met. But as you can see on their web site http://www.petchicago.com/, "Fun for the whole family, but please leave your own pet at home. Only attendees who have pre-registered for a contest are allowed to bring their pet."

I think we had MUCH more fun

Your pictures are great! I love our pet expo too. We are lucky enough to have the Super Pet Expo come right by us. We go every year and if the pups couldn't go we wouldn't either!

This year our trainer even did a class with us early in the day to work on heal through crowds. I was soooo proud of Kilrain. He was in a down-stay and four little shelties trooped right past him. He didn't budge. Art was thrilled with Katala too. While we were practicing the down-stay a little poodle puppy I could have fit in my hand came prancing right up to her nose. She stayed!!! Little dogs normally get her out of her mind excited but she's coming along great. She even kept her cool while checking out the painting pig.

This year we helped with our trainer's agility demo which got us free tickets but it's the first time we have done anything except just enjoy the expo. I always buy a ton of newfy stuff and the pups get treats and toys and usually bandannas. They got to share pretzels with us at the food court and thankfully Katala didn't repeat her performance at Harrisburg and jump on the table
