Morgan started Rally classes

We went to our first class last night. Learned a lot and hope to learn a lot more so we could do tests in the near future. This is so much more relaxed then CD classes. Seems there are a lot of the same commands. I just need to learn the signs and take my time so I don't skip any like I did at the end?
Wish us luck that the weather cooperates during the next 5 weeks and we don't miss any do to snow!! Even though she loves snow!

You could find info on the AKC or CKC website. Like CD without the headache.
Youtube haves a lot of videos on it too!
I enjoyed it after I knew what some of the signs were. This class does teach various levels so I should know a lot of signs before it ends so I could do multiple levels.
I didn't know about it til a NN told me about it. Fun indeed!!

Rob, check out CKC website for information about CKC Rally, it is very similar to AKC rules.
You should be able to find some classes around Surrey if you are interested. It's great fun.

Did our 2nd class last night. Morgan likes all the treats and attention she gets while doing the course. Also all the attention of the other dog people and those that are just there to watch and help out.
My hubby even came out but didn't bring the camera. Sorry...
I almost fell over when a beautiful male Leon came in our class. Such pretty dogs!

So only a few classes left. After class tonight the few left let their pups loose so I let Morgan free. Boy did they all have a good time running around and playing. She really needed that since she doesn't have anyone to play with at home. She's been out since we got home at 8:30. Not like her?
Also learned if the treats aren't as good as your neighbors you'll lose her attention. Gonna need to cook liver before next Tuesday? Need to decide if I need more classes or just go for it.

Sounds like you're having a good time with you pup! I'm going to check out youtube so I know what you're actually doing. :)

So guessing on signing up for test in March. Keep paws and fingers crossed that nothing happens between now and then and we could get one title in the near future! Also gonna work on her CD so she won't need to obedience during her Water Dog test. Gonna be a busy year!!!
