Magic and Willie cross the bridge

One of the gals from the Seattle club said good by to 2 of her newfs last week. Magic was 13 and a half and passed away early in the week. Then her son, Willie passed away on Friday. I know both dogs were well titled, but I dont know what all they were
Jo has never posted here but I have told her of NN. She is a wonderful person who cares about her club and the breed.
She and her husband sponsored us to join the seattle club, she has shown me as well as others who are new to newfs how to groom their own dogs.
At meetings and get togethers she is the first to come up and say hi and plant a big kiss on the lips of the closest newf.
My heart and prayers go out to Jo, Eric, Dalton and the all the fur kids in their family.

Oh Gosh! Losing 2 in one week must be absolutely devastating! I get devastated when I read about one newf crossing. Let her know we're thinking of her. Does she have other dogs or were these the only ones? Good Lord, I need to go kiss my dog.

Oh, my goodness! One loss is bad enough...but, TWO has got to be SOOOOO much more heartbreaking. I can't even imagine how she must feel!

Oh wow...Jo IS absolutely the best and I'm so sorry to hear of her loss. She used to live in KY, her sister is in southern IN and the two of them are a couple of the nicest people you will ever meet!

Oh wow.... that is devastating.... I just had a nice note from Jo a couple of days ago... she's also a member of SCNC. I'm working on the newsletter now, so I'll put something in.

Thanks for posting... even though people aren't on NN, it's still a small world, and they're sure to have freinds hear who wouldn't know other wise....
