They are great shots!

Ours quit allowing the dogs..both HD and Lowes. A lady had a little dog in the cart someone else tried to pet it without asking.. and upon getting bit.... sued the local HD. Now.. it is termed as a "liability" issue :(

Great pictures. I only know of Bass Pro Shops in our area that allows dogs. I might talk to our obedience class instructor about approaching other businesses to see who would allow them. I always hate when we have to leave the dogs at home because we are going somewhere that won't allow them.

Those two look quite content to be out doin' the shopping!

A bunch of clothing shops here let me bring in the boys - my favorites are JCrew and Anthropologie. Nanook is my personal shopper. The girls alway save the biggest dressing room for us, and he checks out each outfit prior to purchase. If his tail wags, I know it's a good look for me!

(The first time I brought him into Anthropologie, I walked in alone first and asked to speak to the manager on duty, and then I asked the manager on duty if they allow well behaved pets to shop with their owners. She said, "Of course!" so I turned around and went out and got Nanook out of the car, wiped his snout, and put a clean bib on him, and in we went. Her jaw hit the floor when she saw him. Hah! I'm pretty sure she thought I had a pocket pet.)

The manager of our local JCrew is a HUGE animal lover, and saw me out with him one day sitting at Starbucks, (which is next door to the JCrew), and came over to pet Nanook, and then said, "Not to bribe you...but, we'd love to have him visit the store. We have cookies..."

Nessa,
I wish we had stores like that here. When we lived downstate all the nicer clothing stores would allow dogs,
but up here we don't have any "better" clothing shops. The best we have up here is Macy's :bah:
When we are in Manhattan, downstate or Palm Beach they let me take the dogs into Burberry, Barney's, Nordstroms, Saks etc..
The closest ones are 4 hours away from here :(
Now I do most of my shopping online...at least I can shop in Pj bottoms, a Tshirt and with all the dogs I want :D
I really wish we had a JCrew close by that allowed dogs like the one you go to. I LOVE their jeans!

Kelly, the next time you are in Manhatten and are going to Burberry, Barney's, and Saks, let me know. The boys and I will join you! :)

We didn't have the Newfs then, but Burberry is amazing!
We took Kitty in (approx 50 pounds) and they dressed her in all their dog stuff...wool sweaters, collars, leashes etc..
It was like she had a personal shopper. Of course we bought the outfit LOL The collars and leashes still look new, but she doesn't wear the sweater. It's REALLY warm!
I would love to take the Newfs and meet you there sometime. The Sherry-Netherlands is right on 5th Ave across from Central Park and the Plaza ...they allow dogs. The only catch is, if you can't carry them through the lobby you have to use the service elevator, but a "tip" gets you past that rule LOL.
Sue we have to think about this next summer!
