Speaking of parvovirus...I saw 3 positives in the last 10 days. That is more than I've seen in the past 4 years! Wish I could say it was one region, but these specimens come from all over the country. I will say most are from the South which makes sense. It seems to thrive in the hottest weather.

Glad he is doing better - definitely return the bag of food and get a new one or even a new brand depending on what it is!

I got my food from National Pet Pharmacy and they didn't even take the food back, they just mailed me a new one no questions asked. Turned out, it may have been the food was too rich for her, but it wasn't contaminated. So now i have 2 bags (60 lbs) of this food for my 4 lb dog to eat! lol
My vet saw several cases in one week. And people wondered why I made the vet spray down the scale before I weighed my vaccinated puppy and why I wouldn't let her walk on the floor.
Tech told me there was no parvo cases and the vet told me he put 2 down and one in critical condition.
Scary. It's the most horrible thing to go through.
