Son was up at 5:30 am for work. I got up at 6am , because dogs were going in and out a lot. Came downstairs and they had knocked over and opened the trash in kitchen and had it all over. They were trotting in and out with their "booty"

what a mess. I am sorry I didn't have my son take it out that night.

Yes, it certainly can be a "Fun" thing to do. Had that fun, usually with the recycle bin which apparently is a Treasure Trove of Newfie Favorites.

Mine do too...they destroy EVERYTHING! Jake has literally a 3" X 3" piece of fabric that was his "baby" he still carries around with him...the rest was eaten! LOL...btw...he pooped the rest out!

I think Paper is a newfie thing.. Jethro and his father before him, eat TV Guide, AKC magazines, paperbacks.... Have to puppy-proof the house big time

Mine did this so often I finally had to put the garbage in the cupboard underneath the sink. I laugh when he knocks over the cardboard recycling can, because there's no food. Then, he gets the last laugh when I have to pick it all up.

We keep our recycle can in the back hallway. The garbage can in the kitchen has a lock, but when it's stuffed it might not latch tight. Message to self.....take it out before it is stuffed.
