Is the K-9 III Dryer inconvenient to take to a show?

Only bad thing I have heard about the K-9 III's is that they sometimes trip the breakers at shows because they run higher amps than the others.
Exactly, if you can afford both. I just got a Mini and love it. Great for those flufs at a show. I normally keep the K9-III at home, unless I'm going the the Natioanl, etc., where I'm far enough away from the house.

Is the K9III worth the money? Especially if you only have one or two dogs? It just seems mighty expensive, given that there are so many other dog dryers out there for half the price...
Hands down best "dog" thing I've bought. At the time I only had one dog, with massive coat, now I have two Newfs. Sometimes I try to use the metro air force dryers at the self wash just to get them to stop dripping till I get them home and use my K9III, and it's absolutely pointless. Nothing beats the K9III in drying time and power, so worth it.

Haha that's how we feel at the dog wash too. I sit there, aiming it at him thinking "this is pointless, I should just load him up as-is and go home to my K9III".

I use ours on Moose and also to blow off our porch and blow out our garage. My husband has used it to get those extra spots of water off his car after a car wash, and even after pressure washing it. Can't say enough good things about it.

We also bought out K9 III from Lynn and love it. We don''t show, but use it for baths - both wet and dry, and assorted cleanings tasks. The one at our pet wash, is only good to get them ready to take home.

My boys use my dryer to get water spots off their cars after washing too. I also use it for leaves and it works much better than my husbands leaf blower.

We have a Double K dryer and LOVE it. We don't show, but it's wonderful for drying Thor or getting that random fur off us/him. lol A good dryer really is a must with these dogs. My husband never had one and thought I was insane for spending the money I did, but now he wouldn't live without it!

Oh! I will add, that I will heat up, but I've never had it over heat on us. That may be because we take a short potty break while drying Thor because a bath and a dry makes him have to go. lol I did go with the double k because it was a little cheaper. IF I had to buy another one and had the extra money, I would go with a K-9.

When going to shows, load crate on flat dolly, grooming table on top of crate, dryer on top of that, bungee chord thru the handle of the dryer to two sides of dolly - let the equipment do the work for you!

I would like to say, that these are a lifesaver!!! Yesterday, I took Thor outside and blew his coat for a good 10 to 20 mins getting all the old hair off that got loose from his bath on Sunday. It was quite funny. There was hair EVERYWHERE...on Thor, me, blowing over by the other houses. ROFL!

In case you hadn't thought of it yet, I blow myself off last. It does a really good job of getting the hair off me as well! Though the neighbors might think I'm crazy.
Between dryers, PVC washing stand with ramp, rally cones, obedience gates, PVC carts, toys, bones, old rugs on the patio to prevent slipping, filled-in holes with fencing flat over them to prevent more digging, and fencing around the air conditioner compressor to keep male urine away, our neighbors that can see into our back yard from their 2nd story KNOW we're crazy!:whistling:

Way ahead of you there! HAHA! I turn one of the motors off though when I blow myself off.
