In the Company of Newfies

I just finished this book. I'm sure many of you had read it. It is an incredible journey into the mind of our beloved Newfies. I could identify with so much of what the author felt and observed. I tried to finish it on my break at work on Friday, but I got too emotional and had to put it away. I HIGHLY recommend it!

It is a great book, Though I did not read it out loud to the dogs. Last thing I need is for Boagie to figure out how to use her big butt to get cookies off the fridge

Gwynn, Angus did that fridge trick too. He also ate my first copy of the book, so I had to buy another!

I miss yelling at him when he counter-surfed.

This book is great! I received it from my breeder on Saturday and I'm now on page 133 - will finish it today. I was exited to find out that my puppy (not at my house yet) is descended from one of the greatest Topmast dogs. Made the book hit home all the more!

It should come with a warning to make sure you have plenty of tissues nearby when reading. I loved it though.
