In season...again.

Just looking for some sympathy...looks like we might need to just get Cimorene spayed. I had all of her bloodwork/thyroid done with Dr. Dodds back in March and all checked out ok.

Her first two seasons were just 2 months apart (starting at 7 months of age)
Then there was a 4 month break.
Now her third and fourth are again just 2 months apart.

If I wait about 6 weeks after this season, it will put us around the first of the year and she will be 21 months old. Sooner than I would like but not too far off.

Thanks Sharon...I guess it's good we weren't going to make it to O.C. afterall! At least she shouldn't have another heat through Thanksgiving/Christmas.

Cimorene,
Why do you do this to your momma ((hugs))

Sharon,
She has been a pistol from day one, I remember all her puppy stories :) ... no advice since I know nothing on the subject, I just love Cimorene!

OMG..Katy is fourteen months and we are still waiting ( well not waiting really :))
I thought the full male Tobias might bring her on and that worried me a bit. Sorry you missing out on OC......Girls will be girls until the bits go missing :) Ronnie

Wow's right Ronnie...Cimorene is just 18 months and this is her 4th!!!

Kelly -- Yes, she's certainly always been a pistol...I wonder if the spay will slow her down any! LOL. But yes, we do love her. :)

Don't tell me that Ronnie!!! At least she has Rowan now. He's learned that if he can wait it out, he can OUTRUN her and she tires out well before him!!! LOL. Then he can pin HER down and she has to lie there with HER legs in the air, giving the "I give up" signal. Haha!!! Victory!

We had a foster who did that...and someone called it "short-cycling". We had her spayed as soon as she finished the second heat in a 3 month period.

Did I give you the contact info for the reproductive specialists in Richmond? It might be a hormonal thing that can be corrected, or they might be able to put her on the same meds that Lucy is on to prevent a heat cycle.
