Last night Katlin was standing next to Tily eyeing her up and down and the next thing we hear is "I'm gonna ride that dog..." we told her if she could mount up on her own go for it. So she walked over and got her little chair and put it next to Tily (who never moved) and got on the chair to climb on. Now keep in mind Tily is 29" at the shoulder and Katlin is 37" tall. So shes standing on her chair and grabs hold of 2 handfuls of Til at the shoulder swings one leg over her and mounts her like a horse....and proceeds to slide off the other side. Tily looks at Katlin on the floor then at us and walks about 2 ft away and sits down. So then Katlin looks at Maggie (who is about 1/2 " taller than Til) and says "I;m gonna ride THAT dog!) and moves the chair over to Mag. Climbs on the chair grabs hold of Maggie at the shoulders and climbs aboard. This time she kept her seat long enough for Maggie to start to walk which is when Katlin lets go with 1 hand and raises it over her head while she hollers YEE HAW!! and proceeds to slide off again. At that point Maggie sat down too. We were laughing so hard at the whole thing and of course it all happened so fast you couldnt get any video or photos but my what a memory!!!

AWWW very cute, and kudos to the fur babies for being so tolerant! You're right though, next time make sure you have that camcorder ready and waiting!

She's obviously practicing for a pony of her own. My grand daughter is due to be born in 6 weeks (although after yesterday it could be any minute) and I've already promised a pony. Of course, it's because I always wanted one and was always told "no". She'll probably start out on the dogs, too.
