Thanks Jane. A very Happy Newf Year to Emma, Bear and you and your family. I enjoyed having you ride shot gun and sharing Newf stories with you. :)

LOL! Well... actually Cubby doesn't have to kiss a cod unless she wants to. She is a true Newfoundlander. It's an old Newfoundland tradition that honorary Newfoundlanders get "Screeched In" by wearing the sou'wester (rain hat), knocking back a shot of Screech (rum), and then kissing a cod ( yup, a real cod).
I was sworn in a few years back by a Newfoundland co-worker.... Cubby made me do it ;)
