Bless her sweet little heart!! What an ordeal for all of you to go through. I'm hoping with all my might that she'll soon have a definitive diagnosis and a firm course of treatment.

Thank you very much everyone. We can feel the prayers coming.
Yesterday and today you wouldn't have known that Hummel had any problem at all. She was very alert and enthusiastic about everything. It brightens my soul to see her happy.
She went back to the vets today. It's been 5 days since her surgery and it was time to remove the stitches and vent tube from her skull. She had to be relieved for that. But the goop just keeps coming. Her weight was down from last month but the way her appetite is lately I hope she will get some of that back.
We are still waiting for Friday and the results that should come with it. We will give you all an update when we find out.
Thanx again for all your kind words, thoughts and prayers.

I am sitting here at my desk and I am in stunned disbelief. We just got back from the pet emergency room and Hummel is no longer with us. After all that we went thru trying to make her better, and of all the things that could've happened its just unbelievable that she bloated.
I'm sorry but I just cant write anymore tonite but I wanted to tell you.

Thank you for all your support.

Oh my gosh ... I don't know what to say. I'm so sorry. Please hang in there. When you feel up to it, tell us more about your friend Hummel, I'm sure she was a wonderful dog. you are wonderful people for going to the lengths you did for her.

Will you still get the pathology back? I may be useful to know ....

OMG I am so very sorry.
My thoughts are with you and Hummell, I am so sorry for your loss. I admire and respect all the things you did for your girl, and that you never gave up on her. I think you should hold on to the fact that she seemed to have a few good days this week. I am so so sorry.
Take care

My heart is filled with anguish for you and for Hummel.... I am stunned... and filled with grief. Sending thoughts and prayers for strength. And as JTNewf said, you can know that Hummel is in a better place, and free from suffering..... and I do believe that she'll always be with you.... in your heart and in your memories.... and you will be together again some day....

As hard as it is to lose her, at least you have those last 2 days of her being the way she was.

I hope you post this in the Rainbow Bridge section, when you feel up to it!

God bless you for never giving up hope for making her well! How very, very sad!
