Raven goes back in thursday for more xrays to try and find the problem with her leg.

Our wildchild is not happy being on restricted exercise.

Even if it means surgery l just want her to be able to run and play like the demented loon she wants to be.

I so hope you can get a definitive diagnosis and a good treatment plan. Sure hope she's on the mend soon. Lots of prayers and good thoughts being sent:grouphug:

This will be the second set done as the first didnt show any problems.
If these dont highlight the issue then l want her ct scanned as l want to reduce the amount of anaesthetic she is exposed to.

Still convinced its going to require surgery.

Not spayed yet, we are waiting until they are both 2-3 years old and finished growing before doing it.

Found the ruffwear rock climbing harness, rubber backed mats at the ready and dining room rearranged already.
Got Ronnies rehab notes pinned up and sedatives ready for one of us.:icon_cof:

Still hopefully she only has to have it done the once and on one side only hopefully by June we will all be able to enjoy a holiday with her running around like the demented loon she is.

Complete cruciate rupture plus meniscal damage so that was removed.

8 pins holding the plate and apparently already high energy already so going to be fun

Picking her up tomorrow so stairgates everywhere, mats and still waiting for her pen to arrive.

Good luck and hoping for a speedy, (and quiet), recovery! We went through two cruciate tears with our one girl when she was two. Keeping her quiet as she recovered was a challenge! Hang in there! It sounds like you are very well prepared.

Sorry to hear this... Puzzles, and more puzzles they were my lifesaver for Yussie hen she had surgery on her elbow as she was a high energy newf. She loved playing the games n front of her. teach touch games and all that sort of stuff is very mind tiring for them. Even a muffin tin with plastic cups is a good start. i just used to sit in the pen with Yussie and we used to do all sort of "where did I hide the food" ... It is tough with the high energy newfs, but all worthwhile

Well it's going to be interesting anyway, sedatives have been requested already to be on the safe side as there are going to be some times when l need her slightly dopey and quiet.

just hoping her pen comes today so l can get it ready and setup for her fast otherwise got two pieces of an old bed tied together to create a barrier.
