Very informative article. My vet told me he wanted to clean my 9 1/2 yr. old black lab's teeth. But I was afraid of the anesthesia issue, also. He didn't think there would be a problem, but I opted against it. So instead I brush his teeth. I know that's tough to do with a cat, but I don't think I'd take a chance.
