I'll let you in on a secret...I know you are still getting used to your new home and new Mom and all, but I just want you to know that you are one of the luckiest dogs on earth to be where you are. You're Mom may try to make you look silly at times, or tell hilarious stories about you. She may even try to blame you for things you didn't do, but she is the best, most kind, and most loving mom that ANY dog could have. She will take care of you, protect you and make you feel safe and loved. Just be patient with her. She had to wait a long time to find you, because you are very special, and I promise she will never let you down.
But if you have any trouble at all trying to make sense out of this new life you have, we are here to sympathize and advise. You can rely on us.
Oh...and frankly, I dig the "wet look". Ditch the towel and embrace it! But wait until she's not looking.
