Help Needed

I work with a Newfoundland Dog Rescue. A while back I brought in four pups that where only five weeks old. Please read following from www.ThatNewfoundlandPlace.org (Cathy Drench) two of them have Cataracts.

The initial eye specialist visit confirmed cataracts and pups can see NOTHING....our second appointment for further testing is scheduled for August 7...our appointment after that will be for eye surgery to remove the cataracts ... total cost per pup will be approximately $4500.00...

This has been a miracle litter...we need one more miracle so that Tiny Tim and Bree can experience being able to watch and chase a rolling ball...or a stick thrown into the water to retrieve...

With your help and kind donations, we can give these babies sight! We gratefully thank you for any help!

Donations can be made thru www.ThatNewfoundlandPlace.org

Thank you
Pete LaFleur

Unfortunately at this time I was only able to make a small donation. Hopefully it will help in some snall way to give these babies sight.

LuLu sent her tips from the grooming shop for June. Juno (not to be outshined) will be sending his tips for July as soon as his slacker boss tallies his earnings.

Hi All! Just returned from the eye specialist in Rhode Island...our two blind pups had special testing done to ensure that the nerves behind the cataracts were in good shape...a MUST in order for the surgery to work...after two hours of testing, both pups PASSED! Their surgery is scheduled for August 22...followed by some return vet visits for eye check ups and a pretty busy recovery plan...we are so excited that these two babies will be given VISION!!! Thank you so much for donations ... we are so grateful for any help! We will keep everyone posted on their progress...
