I am a teacher in Oregon and every year the 4th graders study Lewis & Clark. I am called on as 'Newf expert' to teach the kids about the breed and why Seaman was a big help to them on the expedition, which I love doing. I show them pictures of Oliver, talk about the characteristics of the breed and show them a short video from the Animal Planet Dogs 101 series. I would also love to show them a video of them doing their 'jobs' such as water rescue, carting, therapy work etc. but I am having a hard time finding videos that would be appropriate to use. Because it is a school, I can not access Youtube which has many good videos. Does anyone know of any other video resources I can check out or any other ideas of things I should cover? Thanks for all your help in advance!
