P.S.

We are so envious that you have 2 fine Newfie specimens. How lucky is that ?

I AM lucky....I jumped on it when my boyfriend said we should get a second one...I put the deposit down immediately so he couldn't change his mind...here's a new pic of them begging for ice cream....

Hey Becky, what part of Dayton are you in? My Vet is Dr. D'Amico at Waynesville Veterinary and he's got A LOT of Newf experience, as we take a lot of our rescues there and of course he takes care of all my Newfs. I highly recommend him, and I agree, OSU School of Veterinary is the best!

Where did you get your brown baby? Is he local?

I'm sorry for the late reply...I got him in Tiffin, OH. He's getting huge. I forgot how fast these guys grow. But, he's really really bitey...

My girl Emma is a Rescue and has a huge overbite, that is why they got rid of her. After 4 years of having and loving her they did not like the way she looked. How sad. She looks funny with her tongue hanging out the side and it is a small tongue and she is a very large girl. She has no problems eating or drinking, it was never a problem to me

Welcome. I can not offer much here on the overbite. It is a bit of a drive but the owner of our clinic is well known in IL for veterinary dentistry if you are looking for a second opinion. See Dr Baker at http://www.northgatepetclinic.com/clinic-info/our-staff/ I know he worked on a Zoo tiger once....at the Zoo.

This is the clinic we go to, and we are quite happy. But we have never seen Dr Baker professionally. But I know he is highly respected especially by past clients. He pretty much only sees old clients now as well as his specialty.

Welcome from a fellow newbie!

What a small world this is. So many people from Ohio. While I live very close to Dallas now - I grew up in Mercer County (Ohio), St. Henry to be exact.
