Tomorrow is the big day! The little/not for long girl is coming home! So excited...not too much for the drive to get her though, but it's well worth it!!!

She would've been just over eight weeks when I picked her up today (born Nov 27th) but she was dropped right before I drove the three hours to get her and it looks like they might have to put her down! I'm horrified! I was promised the pick of the litter that is due in two weeks, and delivered to my door, but it just isn't the same:(. All of the breeders dogs/pups r heart and hip certified and guaranteed....made sure of that...even talked to the vet. So...,I'm just gonna say a prayer for the poor thing and wait I guess.

Her 12-year-old granddaughter....after being told not to handle the puppies...dropped her!!!! The breeder was clearly shaken. It is just awful, awful, awful!!!

This doesn't sound right.... A 12-year-old should not drop a Newf, and it should not have to be put down if it (at 8 weeks) were dropped. Of course I could be wrong, but I wonder if they sold it to a higher bidder. This just reminds me of a bad experience I had with a Michigan breeder years ago.

Any more info?
