Lisa... I know what you mean! Yelda broke out of her crate last night while we were at the grocery store... everyone in our neighborhood was shooting of firecrackers and stuff... poor girley girl. So we'll be home tonight...hiding out acting "normal".

Happy Fourth of July everyone. The fireworks don't bother the boys at all. Sassy used to go nuts this time of year, but since it doesn't worry the boys, she has kind of taken a cue from them and it doesn't bother her hardly at all. She will even go outside with them, where before she would hold it for days because she was too afrraid to go out with the boomers!

We watched the ones in NY on TV. Everything here was postponed due to severe weather warnings. Turned off all the lights. That's when a big screen TV comes in really handy
Had the sound blaring...had to hear the music over the booming. The dogs only barked once. I think it was a whistling noise that got 'em. Of course it WAS TV, and maybe they know the difference.
Macy's sure does put on a show. I think the fireworks lasted at least 30, maybe 40 minutes. LOTS of them going off at once. Very cool!

..creeping into the dawn..frizzle..frazzle..need bath. May actually get bath..and more coffee in..before the first hike. frizzle..frazzle..and no matter where ya all watched the boomy-stuff.. the money going up in smoke around our road..was stupid-pendous! frizzzz...
