So adorable!! You did a great job.
I live too far out to have trick or treaters but sometimes we have the odd parent or two who will come out here and drive their child from home to home. Because we never know if we'll have anyone come by, we keep our porch lights off until well after 9
Tonight is rainy and dreary so we're going to turn out the lights, watch scary movies, eat pizza and chili cheese fries and tons of candy all while buried under a Newf or two

We don't get any trick or treaters either Mary K, living in the countryside on acreages. The local Fire Department has a bonfire, fireworks, costume competition, hot dogs and hot chocolate, so all kids and their families all go there.
However, I do buy some chocolate treats........ Just in case!! And we eat them lol.

We are lucky if our grandkids make it here for halloween. I still buy candy that I like since I know I'll be eating it.

Yes Angela we do both over here.halloween is more of a new thing with the trick or treaters .before we hardly used to get any.
Last year l got an automated butler like Lurch from the Adams family.he was a big hit.
He's in storage because we want to move once we sell our house .
Guy Fawkes is the 5th November and celebrates Guy Fawkes trying to blow up the houses of parliament and failing

We always celebrated Guy Fawkes when I was a kid in Essex. Some made a "Guy" and hung out by the local stores with a sign saying "Penny for the Guy"!!! Dates me!!!
