Angus was a very persistent counter-surfer. I bought some of those big plastic mouse-trap looking things, which snap loudly and scare the dickens out of the dog! Well, after the first couple of times, Angus got really p-d at them and barked his head off....then he learned how to scan the counter and plant his paws Between them, so they wouldn't go off!

HB..on few times per week..she is in the house..trails her snout, ever so gently along both counters. I have left items..within reach..but she does not even try to sample/take them. On the outside of the laundry porch, downstairs..by the outside steps/door, there is a wooden table, cleaning area..upon which I lay her morning treat..to give her, while I trot out to the paper box to get the Register Guard. She will swing her nose around..in small arc's..but leave the item there..until I present it to her. So far..she has been a thoughtful kid. ina n HB

well annie, i guess it's just a sign of my schizoid personality! I don't know why I did that...except I think it was because I had forgotten my password...and it was just easier to start over than try to get my password.
