Just came back from a pet event out here in Seattle area. Ran across a tool called a Furizzy. Really great tool for getting the undercoat out on a dog. The link is http://www.furizzy.com . Just thought folks migh be interested in it.

Not good. Looks like you can do the back easily but what about the sides, chest, neck, legs, pants?

Actually as it is soft Katala actually likes it on the back and belly. To her it is more like a person giving her a scritch. She is our grooming challenge so I will take what I can get. It is amazing how much loose undercoat it gets.

this reminds me of my parners chinese back scratcher.

if it works its a great tool though I dont think my gsd's would stand still long enough

Jacques uses a rubber curry "brush" (for horses) on ours and they LOVE that thing. And it pulls out a ton of undercoat too.

I'd like the rake if it was smaller. That thing is huge. :)
