from contaminated food with salmonella. I do urge you not to take this very lightly or believe that it just causes an upset stomach and is normal. I was hoping that the dog food recalls would stop since we have not heard much in a while but yet again another Diamond food recalled so your pets are not in the clear nor is your family and I express again, so don't read if you are already pissed at me, salmonella can kill, it's not just your ordinary virus that runs through dogs.

I read that most recent recall last nite and my skin crawled at the thought of it. I was working in a clinic when the melamine thing happened, and I recall thinking we were "safe" as the foods we sold were all prescription diets etc, and nobody had notified us of the recall. I had known about the recall for a very long time before we were EVER notified that some of our foods were included IN the recall. I was furious. During that time lapse, we had sold several bags of one of the recalled foods and people were feeding it to animals that were already obviously health compromised enough to be on a prescription diet. At least with the computer system we were able to get ahold of anyone that used that food and get them to stop feeding it. I cringe to think of the number of people who are still feeding the recalled foods because they are not on the computer to see these batch numbers etc. It would be a frosty day you know where before I would feed ANY food that was made in that plant.

Seriously...I know it must be difficult to live in the areas that have had the recalls since so MANY of the brands have been recalled with the latest yesterday. I just switched my dogs from TOTW over to California Naturals. Hopefully, they are safe. I didn't know what else to do between recalled food and allergies. It is just awful for the pet owners who lost a pet from these recalled products.

I am not very computer savvy, as a matter of fact I stink when it comes to this machine.

However, I have been trying to find a full list of all the recalled foods. Does anyone have a link to the list? If so, would you pm me or post it?

these are a list of foods that diamond makes for as it regards to other compaines however not sure it is a complete list. If you use these food brand names just for now be safe. I had thought it was over and was willing to try again this week but that's out!
I'll see what else i can find. I thought we were up to 16 foods being recalled so this list may not be complete. And while I love diamond foods, and is it tragic that this happened it is better safe than sorry.
