I usually have to use a flash and she ends up looking more like this:
So frustrating! She's so pretty in real life, and the photos come out so bizarre. Does anyone else have this problem? Guess I just need to only take photos with natural light.
I use natural light whenever possible. The built-in camera flash is pretty much always useless because it is too harsh and causes glare and green pupils.
Natural like is the best choice for any photo. My camera (canon 5D Mark III) has no built in flash. When I use a flash I usually try to bounce it off the ceiling. If you have an on camera flash you can diffuse it by putting a little bubble wrap around it. That way you don't get the glare.
Oh, those elegant, feathered paws. What a pretty dog.
I am still using my point and shoot Canon from 10 years ago. The flash always changes things and if I try not to use it the focus is off. I want a DSLR camera but no money for one.
