Dryer

I know we have discussed this before, but search isn't working well. I need to get a dryer, but keep in mind I have just the one Newf, don't really want to put in a dedicated outlet and would like spend under $200.

I did see a couple of Metros for that. Am I barking up the wrong tree?

I need something practical, and not super heavy.

I like the double K dryers. They are a plastic housing so they are not as heavy (or LOUD) as metal housing ones.
The double motor ones are excellent and will run you around 250-300. You can still buy the single motor model, which is the one I use, for about 200-250. THey pull less amps than some other brands too.
I have had mine for six years now and it is still going strong.

I have this and I love it! I just use the blower setting and use the tapered blower nozzle and I get my girl (who has a TON of coat) completely dry in something like 20 minutes. If you wait for a sale or do a comparative search, you can get it for less than $80 bucks. I'm a knucklehead and just recently realized that the blower motor comes off of the vac body...so it's very much like a regular commercial grooming dryer. I was thinking of upgrading at some point to a K9III, but now that I know it detaches, I have no interest anymore. Love. This. Thing.
