Do I have a teenager on my hands?

Remind me again when the teenage stage kicks in. Either Griffin has gone deaf or he likes watching me pull all my hair out.

I'm pretty sure he came out of womb as a fresh, back-talking, boundary pushing pup, but lately I've started wishing I named him Dennis after Dennis the Menace. I'm sure many of you are familiar with the "no, I'm not going to do that. In fact, I'm going to do the exact opposite" look that I'm currently dealing with.

I may have steered some of you wrong posting some of Griffin's "calmer moments" for his 1st birthday post. This is the real devil. He shouldn't have that. And he knows it.

That looks familiar! LOL But he is so darn cute, its hard to be mad at that!!!!
This is the exact reason I have the #1 Ms. Fresh! Because she is so darn cute...even when she is bad!!!

Oh goodness, he is still so cute whilst being naughty! :p
Raleigh is coming up to 6 months soon so I'm worried that I'll wake up one morning and have a monster on my hands!

Kim, are you sure this isn't a picture of my Mila Photoshopped into a young, male Landseer? Or that you aren't talking about her when you say. "came out of womb as a fresh, back-talking, boundary pushing pup". If so, stop plagiarizing my life

Seriously though, I think I love him...not in spite of, but because of his naughtiness. He's like my girl and as much as I'm pretty sure she's taken 3 good years off of my life for stress and frustration, these sass-talking, blood pressure risers are nothing if not entertaining!

Very cute...probably not you though! LOL...cute regardless. Those teenage years seem to last forever but they are to be treasured as old age is another challenge!

It's so nice to know you all share my misery :)

I think it's time I had a talk with Griffin that looks can only get you so far in life. You actually have to be nice. But he probably won't be listening during our talk anyway.

Elvis slept the first year of his life, but now that he's 5 and has this fancy new knee we're seeing behavior we've never have to deal with before. He counter surfed, stole things from the pantry AND fridge, and has decided to seranade us every night during dinner. He's making sounds we've never heard before, and a frequent game at our house is "Hey, is Elvis snoring or growling?"

Enjoy the teenage-dom as much as you can. If nothing else, you'll get some great stories and more fun pictures out of it!

Beau was always a teenage hellraiser.

Max is slightly easier though once his hips are both good heaven only knows what he will end up doing.

Enjoy it though

Yes, you do. :!rolling:

Welcome to my world. I too, love the naughty ones. I'm pretty sure Maggie is the reason I'm on blood pressure medicine.
