Did anyone see "Samantha Who?" last night?

My hubby was channel surfing last night and landed on "Samantha Who?". It happened to be during a bedroom scene in which two characters were trying to get romantic but were having difficulty getting things going because of two rather large and drooling newfies sharing their bed. :lol: Does anyone know if the newfs are "regulars" on the show?

I watch just to see the newfs primarily......always cracks me up! Like in the bedroom scene, "Just turn on the TV and they'll go right to sleep."

Oh, and the time they threw up in her car because they'd been sick! Ha!

I haven't seen it in a while, but now I guess I will have to watch it online just to see the Newfies.

I posted this last night, but don't know how it disappeared. Anyway, they usually have a cameo appearance on the show or she makes mention of them. They are adorable and the bedroom scene was cute!

I've caught glimpses of them when the show first aired. Didn't realize the show was back on...I'll need to look for it next week...but only to catch the newfs!

Just caught this show last night (gotta love On Demand!). Those newfs are adorable and I watched three episodes and they were in all three! So apparently they are regulars...

Another show to add to my list!

Yes they are regulars and are even included on the line-up of characters and are billed as her 2 ginormous dogs. LOL Even though they are never on very long, they do seem to stay right on as far as using a lot of Newfy characteristics when they are.

Yep, the Newfs are regulars on the show. They're not in every episode though, and sometimes Samantha's friend just makes a reference to them.

I thought the show was rather cute and clever BEFORE I saw the first episode with a Newf in it. I let out a squeal when I saw the Newf, hubby came racing into the living room thinking something had happened
to me! :goofy:

I tend to cringe a bit when I see Newfs in movies and tv shows. Don't want to see them go the way of Dals (courtesy of 101 Dalmations) or Saints (ala Beethoven). But this show really portrays them fairly accurately, complete with slobber and hair, and yes the bedroom scene which is absolutely hilarious and _oh_so_true! <g> :icon_redface:

lol, its actually quite funny even without the newfs... hating this new trend to restrict videos to certain countries, bbc iplayer can only be seen here in the uk, hulu only in the us and the abc player thingy also only works in the us... (even when i did my usual trick the abc one didn't work :confused:)

So yeh, http://www.surfthechannel.com/show/television/Samantha_Who.html is kinda helping me out and has all the eps so far rather than the random ones the abc site has.

The series comes out on DVD September 23. I missed the first few last year, so I want to get it. I just love the show.
