Cut # of meals

What is the best way to cut out the lunch meal? We want to send Ziva our 6 mo old to doggie day care for two days a week. I think they would feed her if we asked but it seems safer without the noon meal. They have acres of fenced in wooded trails for her to run and romp around with other dogs on. We are going to switch to adult kibble which will give her about 70 more calories per cup. Now we give her 1 cup of kibble with fish or chicken on top and a 1/2 can of green beans 3x a day. I guess we could cut out the green beans and add either more kibble or more meat/fish. We want to give her the same calories in two meals without adding to much volume. Does anyone ever feed a meal later in the evening?

we feed two meals one in the morning , one at evening time

try to bulk her morning one out, can still use green beans in it if you want to.

if she is constantly busy with other dogs she may not miss it

Owain went to 2meals a day at about 6months. He was getting 3cups twice a day but now I have reduced it to 3in the morning and 2 in the evening.

You can give the same amount of food, but just divide it in half instead of thirds. You can adjust it as she matures if necessary.
