I'm so sorry to hear about your losing sweet Catie. She was so young. I also lost a newf at 5 and 1/2 years of age, Chelsea, so I know what you are going through. It is so very hard, I think of her often. It's great you had your new pup already so Catie could know him and Ruby wouldn't feel so all alone. Take care, Lori

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss of Catie. Our beloved Kodi was 5 years and 1 month when he crossed the Bridge. Catie will live in your hearts forever.

This was my Catie about two months ago,in our lives we see some things only once and she was that one. My wife claims to have heard her bark a few times in the last couple of weeks and maybe she has.

Your Catie had a very sweet face. Your wife probably did hear Catie's bark. After Kodi passed last year, there were several times that I heard "his" bark! Riley reacted to it too! I truly believe that our furkids are letting their humans and fur siblings know that they are still watching over them.

I believe very strongly that your wife has heard her bark. I heard our Jamaica bark from outside, the night she died. I knew her bark...and it was definitely her.

I've also had another show up in a photo, when she passed on....and I'm not even the one who noticed. A friend did. The photo was taken approximately a month after her death.

I believe that hey come back to let us know they're okay. Often, once we acknowledge that we've seen or heard them, they go on to wait for us at the bridge. But they're still watching over us, even tho we don't see (or hear) them again.

Many here have heard their dogs bark...or their footsteps...or the jingle of their tags...or a sigh...or even have felt them rub up against us.

Tell your wife that Catie wants her to know that she's okay...and will be waiting!
