Not really but sure wanted to today! I had my area rug professionally cleaned, the hardwood floors washed and polished...so I thought, being Valentines week I would treat myself to a nice house plant...one that brought some nice spring color into the house...well, I let my LuLu Belle roam the house while I was checking emails and I heard a plastic bag rattle...I go into the living room and there she is with my newly purchased house plant all over my newly cleaned rug and dirt all over the room...usually her antics make me laugh...not today sorry to say...the little ****...I yelled, she dropped what was left and headed to her room...my sweet little girl was in time out for the rest of the day as far as I am concerned...so what does a good doggy mommy do, I ran to the computer and checked to make sure it was poison...it wasn't...thank goodness. The joys of living with newfs!!

Was just straightening out my kitchen utensil drawers this week when I realized that the ends of EVERY handle on all my favorite utensils had been gnawed off by Hugo or Piper. God, I miss them so. Would let them chew the utensils to pieces just to have them back again.
But I do know the frustration of having your stuff mangled, sullied or destroyed by a Newf. They do everything in a big way, whether it's destructive or not.

Lol bottom inch of every door in the kitchen courtesy of my munchkin.l know how people feel though when they would happily have a mangled kit hen just to have him back.
Kickboards in kitchen and bottom stair have been in the wars.hopefully most of the damage was easily cleaned and lulu belle has emerged from time out.

Finally got around to sanding down the curved legs of my wingback chair where Gracie chewed the legs as a pup. Someone ? destroyed and end table and Angus made a huge doughnut out of my sofa cushion....but I miss him still.

Orca broke the leg clear off of our breakfast table by running into it headlong. I think they have a special superpower for destruction.
