Cadie's X-ray showing mild to mod Dysplasia

I posted earlier today about Cadie's Ortelani test which led to X-rays which led the vet to see mild to moderate Dysplasia. She is 8 mos. old and shows no symptoms and I know she may never etc... Just wondering what any of you with some experience in looking at X-rays might think of the film... Vet is certainly not proposing surgery. Keep her athletic, light in weight ( she is a small newf anyway!) and joint supplements.

Suzanne, would you mind me posting this to a FB Newf group or two? Unless you're a member...then you could. Might get more traffic!

I had to add you to the groups to tag you in them...one went through right away, but the other 2 are pending Admin approval. Once it goes through, I'll post it and tag you in those 2 groups. You can un-join those groups at any time :)

I think they look pretty good, not saying that they're perfect, but that I wouldn't lose any sleep over them. Most likely our dog will live a perfect happy life as long as you keep her physically fit and in a good condition (not overweight), as you would any dog. I would recommend you to X ray her again in a few year to see which way the hips are developing / how quickly. I would not restrict her movement/jumping etc: just do what she's comfortable with, like you would with any dog :).
