What type of brushes to y'all use to groom?

I have several types but the 3 I use are, A good Slicker brush, a Wooden Handled Short pin rake (which is my favorite) and, a wooden handled Long tooth Rake.
I have a pin brush but it is too soft to pull through the newf coat, even Puppy coat. so if you get a pin brush get a nice stiff pinned one.
One thing I want to pick up is just a soft bristle brush for the muzzle.

I don't remember the brand names off hand but they were not expensive.

I use combs mostly. During a big shed, I use a rake. I use a pin brush that also has boar hair bristles right before entering the show ring. But I agree, it must be stiff enough to pull through the Newf coat, otherwise it is doing nothing more than a slicker. I think if you want to use a pin brush, you should buy the best one you can afford because the pins come out of the cheaper ones and I hate that....just saying...
