Shelley,
my heartfelt condolences to you. What a terrible loss. I know myself how heartbreaking it is to let your dear Bo go on without you, but you did the right and kind thing for him. I am so very sorry.

Words can't express how wonderful it makes me feel to read all your replies...NN is really like a family. This has been a very ard week for my whole family.I always sad that my golden was a great dog but Bo was my third child.Well now I know what it is like to have lost my child. Bo was the best newf anyone could have wanted. He was loving and devoted no one could ask for more.He had a most wonderful life and for that I am happy. Bo also had a peaceful death and for that I am greatful. We were lucky our vet was willing to come to the house and Bo went over the bridge in the living room his favortie room. We are getting on and he a way I am happy that he left with the dignity he had.
Again thank you for all your kind words.

Shelly, I am so sorry to hear about Bo. I don't check in at NN much anymore because it's so painful, after losing Allie in May. It was brave of you to let him go, and the way you did it was the kindest thing you ever did for him. He got to be with you at that time and that's all he wanted.

I don't know what to say except that it will take a long time, and slowly, it will begin to get a little easier. You had 11 wonderful years with him and that's what will get you through.

I just saw this, and my heart is breaking for you. He gave love and was loved in return. It doesn't get better than that. Give Kylie a big hug for us.
