I am returning after healing from my back and my eye surgery. Story is doing very good and continues to eat for me. She has had a pleasant summer with her missus at her side almost constantly. I cant work and have to lay on the couch for most of my day so she is spoiled with attention!

We might be moving again. My sister bought a new house and I might be able to move into her old country house. It has a fenced in yard, fruit trees, gardens, a shady front porch, a sunny back deck and 4 acres to fence in and have a chicken coup, some goats and a couple mini horses...

Glad you're back, Teah, you had us worried. Keeping paws crossed that your housing plans continue forward. Sounds like maybe the tide has turned for you. Rest and heal. Kisses to Ms. Story.

My girl is doing well...she is eating good for me and has a happy disposition. She remains the dolly of the park and is in fact, the most known dog here! People drop by just to visit her! I will have to bring her back here for visits if i move...

I go back to the surgeon on Tuesday to see if any more crystals occurred in my eye since the surgery..if not, it is deemed a success and I can have the other eye done. WHich would also mean I dont need corneal surgery!!

The house in the country is a blue aluminum sided cape cod with a double garage. I wouldnt use the upstairs unless I want to foster children...which I actually did in NH and wouldnt mind doing again. It needs some repairs but those can be done over time. The benefits would greatly outweigh the problems. And, since I would have a fenced yard and not have a limit on what and how many animals I could have, I could get more newfs in the future. None now..it would be too hard on Story. But later I wouldnt mind fostering and adopting again...
