Attention Whore

Hello everyone!

I have't been on here in a while. The last few months have been CRAZY busy. Just thought I'd check in and let everyone know how Teddy is doing. He's 10 months old now and weighs probably about 85 pounds. Recently he's been growing quite a bit. I've loosened up his collar 3 times this week!

But he is SUCH an attention whore!!! It's really funny whenever my friends come over. I always warn them "Teddy is going to tackle you with his tongue" and none of them believe me until it happens. He's a super loving dog. By far the most affectionate dog I've ever owned.

Unfortunately he's been limping quite a bit. It sort of comes and goes, and it's not too terrible. He'll go a day or two at a time without limping at all. It's been happening for a few weeks not, but I didn't have the money to take him in... I just moved and spent a few thousand dollars doing that. He's still happy and bouncing around though. He'll even swat at you with the bad leg if he wants attention. He has full flexibility and no swelling. I'm thinking that it's something minor that just isn't healing because like I said, he is one bouncy dog. We are going to the vet on Saturday. After talking to them on the phone the also said that it sounds like something minor, but definitely worth getting checked out. I'll keep you guys posted though!

Sounds like he may have pano. Just keep him on a low protein adult dog food and he should be fine.

First thing I would do is check for Lyme. I was worried about intermittent limping with Orca, and it just turned out to be Lyme, which is treatable with antibiotics.
