Appreciate any positive thoughts

Just asking for a little positive energy on Friday. Matilda, our rescue, has always had a small skin tag/mass/lump on her one leg. My wife & I keep a pretty close eye on it and the vet wasn't concerned when we took her in after we picked her up in June. I've notice over the past week and a half that this lump is now growing in size and changing textures/colors. Had her vetted again to let someone better trained than I see it and now we go tomorrow for surgery and a biopsy.

Appreciate any help you may be able to lend in your day with a quick positive thought.

Matilda is home nw...everything went smooth. It will take a few days for the results from the biopsy but Doc Kelly said she didn't see anything during the procedure that seemed "out of the ordinary".

And, the groomer I mentioned in the other thread spent the entire day with my Matti. One of the girls at the office told me that the woman never left her side. AND she gave Matti a bath and a brushing lol. She said it just didn't look like she was having a good day and whenever she has a bad day a good soaking in the tub makes everything better. She told me that she would have groomed her but didn't know the wife & I's preferences so she stopped with the bath.

I found out afterwards from someone else that this lady had a friend who was killed in an auto accident. The friend owned a brown newfie that no one else in the family wanted and she took her rather than let them put the poor dog to sleep. The newf ended up with hip problems and went through two corrective surgeries apparently to no avail. Eventually this poor lady had to have the dog put to sleep because the pain was too much & the dog was obviously suffering (the dog was 12 at the time).

It's unreal sometimes how small the world can seem.

She sounds like a very special person. Give Matilda a hug for me... sounds like everything will be ok!!! We went through this with Sailor when he came to us... the waiting is tough... just try and put it from your minds and have a wonderful weekend with your girl!

I'm so glad Matilda is ok. I only got back on the net today so hadn't seen this until now but I'm really glad the operation went well.
