How do you keep them from tearing the liner with nails?

We are putting in an above ground. I want to let them in but hubby is already frothing about puncturing the liner.

I trim their nails at least every other week and then use the life jackets so they can't walk along the bottom with their back feet and tear the liner. Also they'll need the table for a resting place, it also keeps them from feeling the need to use their front paws to hang onto the side of the pool.

Morgan is so jealous!! All she has is a lake by herself! Yes she wears a jacket too for swimming and visibility for the boaters if she swims out to far!!

That's fantastic!! And the vests a neat idea. I too didn't know about the added advantage of the vest. Maybe I'll get comet one as it turns out he loves swimming.
