Anyone have a Recipe for Homemade Tasty Biscuits?

Kali and Ginger LOVE their snacks. But it's so expensive buying holistic/organic biscuits. I would much rather make their snacks myself. They love frozen blueberries and duck jerky. I've looked online and tried a few, but they tell me to eat them myself. I know someone out there in our Newfie world has a killer biscuit recipe that their Newfie's just LOVE.

Please share it with me!!!!!

This recipe has been posted here before (forgive me for not knowing the original author/creator of this recipe!). All I know, is when I make these, my dogs sit at the oven waiting for them to come out. Every dog I have given them to L-O-V-E-S them --- so much so, that I affectionately call this recipe Doggie Crack. :D

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A can of salmon
2 eggs
enough oatmeal to make a stiff dough (about 3 cups or so if I recall)

mix well and spread evenly over a lightly greased cookie tray.....bake at 400 for about 30 minutes, then score with a knife into bite sized treats and pop back into the oven for another 15 minutes or so, until golden brown and crisp.

Let cool, then break apart onto pieces and keep them in the fridge!

I have been know to add (not all together):

Blueberries
Blackberries
Raspberries
Strawberries

Make sure the fruit cools. I also use a Newfie Cookie Cutter so lesser dogs know what a special treat this indeed is. I realize that this will cause beyond the normal floggies to be flung throughout the kitchen and house, but don't they deserve it?.............................:whistling:

Well, the cookies cooled, and we were in doggie heaven, they could have eaten the whole batch! Thankx for an easy and "delicious" recipe.
