i had never thought this a problem before the pet food recalls, but i buy the largest bag of eagle pack and i have a large rubber maid tote that i keep it in. it is easier to work with than the bag. so once pored in the tote i throw the bag away.??? i guess i should keep the stamp on the bag or something?? like the last recall i would have no idea whe my bag was made or how to return for a refund??? or should i keep the whole bag until the tote is empty???

I empty mine into a tote as well.

I am planning to start keeping the stamp codes until I open a new bag. I want to find a clear plastic pocket with adhesive on the back to put on the bin, then I can just cut off the label from the bag and stick it in the pocket on the bin.

Patti,
You do save your UPC's off the bags right? Eagle has a "frequent feeder" program. You send the UPC's in and they send you some coupons for a free bag, treats, couple cans, etc.
I dump mine in a container and toss the bag, too.

i dont believe they have a frequent feeder program in ontario or anywhere in canada. actually my pet food supplier suggested last time i was there to email and complain. maybe i will do that. but the pocket on the bin is a great idea. thanks!!!
