I spent the day inside decorating while my hubby started outside. After an hour I took a break. Next thing I know there is tandem barking in the front of the house. Well, Sophie and Jetta never bark in the house so I ran to see what was the matter, only to find two cowering dogs, pinned up against the living room wall barking at my two 3 foot elf dolls standing in front of the tree............hope they are better when Santa comes!

HAHAHAHA! Sounds like Ricky, he was in the yard this morning and the men who are going to work on the fence had marked the underground lines (gas, elec, waer, etc) with little red flags. Ricky had to stand about three feet from them and bark at them. He then tinkled on them, and happily came in the house.

Good to hear Clifford isn't the only not so big brave Newfie. Just last week I had bought a stuffed dog for a 1 year old boy I babysit. While he napped we got out the stuffed dog and his 3 yr old sister and I went to the basement to get wrapping paper. Clifford barked and barked. We hurried up thinking someone must be at the door and didn't want him waking up Sean. He was standing a few feet away from the table barking at the stuffed dog. Little 3 year old Anika started petting the stuffed dog and telling Clifford " See it's Ok, it's just a toy"

I can definitely relate!!! Beau has a problem with our giant inflatable Tigger that is on the other side of the gate on the front porch. Luckily none of the dogs can get to him or Tigger wouldn't be a bouncin much any more!!!
