I've never bragged here before but I am so happy to announce that
Ch. Sun Valleys Brenrich Ribbon OFA and Ch. SunValleys Something About Sophie OFA earned their ROMS in 2009!!!!

Ribbon left us much too soon at only 5 years old, so I am ecstatic that she get's this honor.

Ribbon and Sophie's ROMs are the 4th generation of ROM's that I've bred.

Every once in a while you should brag! This merits big congratulations. Good for you. This means their pictures will be in the next NewfTide, right?

Well, if you can't brag here, where can you? Congratulations of this great accomplishment. I'm sorry Ribbon can't enjoy your happiness with you.

Please brag all you want. To get a ROM is very special, to get 2 is awesome.
Big congratulations!

Congratulations Lou Ann!! Could you tell me what is required for a dog to obtain a ROM. I know it's a big honor just not sure exactly what is involved.

Here you go Katie. From the NCA Policy Manual:
REGISTER OF MERIT (ROM)
ROM points are awarded to the parents of the following:
• An AKC Bench Champion
• An NCA ROM, a Working Titlist (AKC/NCA); one (1) counted for every five
(5) Champions and ROMs
It takes twelve (12) ROM points for a dog to become a ROM; it takes six (6) for a bitch.
