Today we said farewell to our gsd girl Jessie.

We knew her time was limited but we always hoped for a miracle .
She was our matriarch of our pack .she loved looking after and playing with all the new additions .She didnt have a good start in life but she gave us 8 beautiful pups when we rescued her .they went on to save my mum and neighbours lives from a fire.

we have Merlin here and the house is quiet without her constant talking to us.she wasnt in pain with her cdrm but her legs were starting to stress her out and yet once she was in the wheelchair there was no stopping her and even last week she went swimming and running with Merlin in a country park.

there is a sense of a burden being lifted and yet l want her here to hold and fuss.

hopefully she has met up with my other dearly departed pets and running at the bridge.

rip my little girl you went too young but at least you had the best we could give you and a better life than your first year

Rest well, sweet girl until you're reunited with your human family. I'm sorry for your heartbreak. I know the sense of relief that comes with the longing to have them back. :hugs:
