Our first Newf was born. His name was Gus.
His official name was OTCh Finnigans Augustus John Am DD, Am CDX! NCA WD.
We knew nothing about Newfoundlands and oh boy he taught us a lot!!
Was dominate, funny, a clown and loved to work.
He was the mascot of the local Brownie pack and took his job very seriously carting the the kids around after they had earned their badge for pet care!
When he was 9 months we took him on a camping trip to Florida in the VW camper. From the Pacific Northwest to Florida he was the star everywhere we went as there were few Newfs back then!
