I was just notified that there is a 3 month old landseer pup in a shelter here in Chicago. The rescue is picking him up now. She called me because she knows I have newfoundlands and I have offered to foster if needed. If anyone is interested in giving this pup a forever home, so far what i have heard is the owner turned him in because they can't potty train him! Come on he is 3 months old!!!! As soon as I have more information the name of the rescue and who to contact I will let everyone know.

Well one of the people from the rescue just called me to see if I wanted him (wish I could) but since I can't I just thought I would put the word out early in case someone is interested when I get the rescues name and who to contact I will post it all up. Just trying to help this baby find a forever home.

Ok here is what I know. He is in medical at Animal Care and Control in Chicago. He was just neutered today, chipped and shots updated. He is a male 3 months and 35 pounds. Doctor at the hospital say he is healthy. 312.747.1406 The woman that called me says that they will not release him at this point. She is part of a rescue and they will release him to her. She was praying that he would get a home right away. As soon as I hear any more I will share.

I got my Jack russell at that age because some one brought her to the shelter when she wasn't house broken yet. Some people.....
Hopefully being a puppy she will get adopted quick and by someone that understands the breed.

Neutered already!! Poor boy! What shelter is he in since I have alot of friends here around Chicago area and could probably help out. PM me please since I don't always go back to older post. Thanks...

Update on the newf puppy. The woman that was suppose to take it was too late getting there. But the puppy has a new home, I haven't heard yet any backround on them but if I hear any I will let everyone know. thanks for your help and concern.
