Slowly going crazy and getting massive, there are 10 days left until my due date. I was kind of hoping to go into labour tonight though, because i finished all my schoolwork for the week and next week is the midterm break, so i wouldn't miss any tests or quizzes or online posts. I have to keep my marks high obviously which may turn out to be tricky with a new baby.
3 days ago was an unplanned visit to the hospital after getting an episode of lightheadedness, double vision and seeing spots, which I guessed was high blood pressure, but after about 8 hours of monitoring, tests and prodding, they determined was nothing more than an aura that preceeds a migrane that I never had, which apparently can happen. At least nothing was wrong with me or the baby!
I woke up 2 nights ago with contractions so bad, I thought that was it, but apparently not, they just didn't want me to get any rest, which is my curse this time around. The other little munchkin is teething again, she's been very slow getting her teeth until now. She's got 3 comming through the gums and 2 more right underneath which will break through soon, and she's started to test my patience with mini temper tantrums. Figures this would happen when I have the least amount of energy to deal with them, at least they are brief when I ignore them.
Whenever I hear the dog barking next door, I keep thinking it's Buddy, we miss him of course, but maybe in 7-10 years or so we'll think of adding a furry companion into the family, which seems like an eternity to me, but I don't want to rush things. We'll go en famille to a breeder and roll around with the dogs and get drooled on and licked and loved on to see what kind of reactions the kids have.
Here's a recent picture of the little one, sporting her brand new molar on the bottom left. She's overall a great little girl, and hopefully stays that way when the new baby comes, she's not really old enough to help out yet, so it may be tricky with them so close together, but we'll make it work!
