Hi everyone. Its Chelsea's mom. Please forgive if I do not do this right it is all new to me.

All of you are so kind. Chelsea has received gifts and they are great. She is in there sleeping. She had a rough day yesterday and I went back to vet this morning and got more pain meds. I am letting her rests so when Ginny gets here she will be fresh. I will post pics then too. I have no idea how to do this. All of the newfies on here are so beautiful. It would be so fun for everyone to get together and have 100s of newfies playing together.

Chelsea is my first one and I hope to have more. I will one day raise one. I am not sure if you have heard the new prognosis but I had basically a whole body xray done on her yesterday and as the vet says "she doesnt have one good wheel". They will get her back to where she was it is just that the accident has made the arthritis really come to the forfront and is hendering her recuperation. We are probably looking at about 10 more days. He said her hip was textbook for a hip replacement. We will see how she does. She is doing well though - eating and drinking and at times I swear I think that she is faking just to get attention.

the other night she was all sad acting and eating up all the attention and someone walked in with a deer bone and practically jump over me to get it. It was so cute. I was like - you little faker.

I give her hugs and kisses all the time from all of you as requested. I give her so many of yours, mine are falling behind. I am going to be on a local radio station here Monday and we were hoping that George Sr would be on too but we got word a few minutes ago that he has thrown his hip out while hunting - can you believe it. I have not heard how he is yet as it has not been long and he is on another farm - not around here. I will be back on later. Pennie
